Remember when your local pizza joint was where you rode your skateboard or bike to hang out with friends, play arcade games, and eat great pizza? I do.

My dream as a kid was to own and operate a place like that. However, my father gave the consistent (maybe even wise) advice to come up with a different plan. So, I got busy living ... pursuing other thankless hustles! (Which wasn’t all bad). I worked as a writer and DJ, served as a school counselor and Franciscan monk, and taught in universities and high schools… but I never missed an opportunity to gather people for dinner or dance parties - often including pizza.

Old School Pizza represents the mid life effort to circle back to an original goal - and a throwback desire for the way we used to do things. No arcade games yet … oh, but they’re coming.
